Drake Street Condo Renovation

This Condo purchased by my client needed a major makeover in several areas. All the dark elements (floors, walls, kitchen backsplash) had to be stripped away and specified with new treatments to give the space a whole new feel.

A rich colour palette was selected for the wall in a matte gold finish. Thanks to Benjamin Moore we have several matte finishes in gold that that convey more elegance than glitz. To arrive at this shade we tested varying levels of intensity, mixing 2 gold shades and tested them before the final shade was selected and this was the final result.

A natural cream colour tile with the aesthetics of stone was selected for the floor to complement this palette and the black tiles forming the kitchen backsplash were replaced with translucent glass tiles installed in subway fashion. The specifications for these three key elements radically transformed the look and feel of the space.
